Renewals
Teaching staff who wish to reserve training videos for their classes can do so personally, or contact staff at the Loans Desk with the details of the item and date required. Although reservations can be made for a video via ROOMS, it cannot be made for a particular date and time. All resources need to be returned to the designated returns chutes to avoid library fines. Chutes are located inside the front entrance of the LRC and on the west face of Building C, opposite the Bistro.
Loans from other Libraries:CAVALStaff who wish to visit other academic libraries and borrow from their collection can do so by becoming a CAVAL member. William Angliss Institute LRC is a member of CAVAL, a network of Victorian academic and TAFE libraries. Staff wishing to borrow from other academic libraries can register as a CAVAL borrower for free. The respective library’s catalogue can be searched to ascertain the availability of resources. Contact staff at the loans desk to arrange for a CAVAL borrowing card. Use this link to access individual and combined library catalogues. Inter-Library Loan and Document Delivery Staff can also access the collections of other academic libraries by inter-library loan or document delivery. Loans of books or photocopies/electronic delivery of journal articles can be organised by LRC staff. Photocopies/electronic delivery of journal articles are subjected to copyright and licensing agreements.
